The phrase, "Clouds Fall to Earth" is the title of a new novel I am writing. This sunset occured late in winter, 2008. Our 95 year old neighbor, Mrs. Ingle, said about the sky, "I thought it was the end of the world!" 
The futuristic story is about a people who have lived in the air, in dirigibles, for
1000 years.

Nice photos, Mick. I've seen such cloud formations on rare occassions, and they are usually associated with bad weather. Good luck with the book.
